A catchy number for the BCS Crew

I don't think this place has seen an anthem of this caliber since DJ Steve Porter's "Press Hop"

FOOTBALL!!!!!!!

Without further delay here is the first real football post of the year
The new 3-4 Defence has really taken off
Capers clearly has the team really understanding the scheme. The linebacker core looks more than solid and the secondary looks to be a strength again.
But the real news is that Jenkins and Jolly whom are both coming of injury plagued years and
are both healthy and productive
The offence looks to be a juggernaut again lead by a rejuvenated Ryan Grant,
one of the best receiving cores in the league, and the man with the game plan AND a lumberjack beard Aaron Rogers
Count Ted Draftula and Frankencoach Mike McCarthy have to be pleased with the way this team is looking right now even given the fact that they have played two poor teams.

Now it is only the pre-season but the team looks like its ready to make a run at what should be a very competitive NFC North. Discuss the Packers upcoming season here.

Light-skinned MU Recruit Signs Letter of De-commitment

MU FANS REJOICE AS RECRUIT ENDS STANDOFF

Recruit (Left) signs Letter of De-commitment ending 9-month standoff with fans and administration

What does this mean for the MU basketball program? Simple. MU now has the flexibility it needs with scholarships for the 2010 recruiting class, and Buzz Williams can continue to target some of the 15 or so top-100 players who have listed interest in MU. But, more importantly, this means that MU won't have a white stiff on the team until 2011 at the earliest. That should do wonders for future recruiting efforts, give serious cred to Buzz Williams and his staff amongst talented basketball players and make for an all-around more enjoyable viewing experience.

Don't Worry, Buzz Still Gets It

MU gets an oral commitment from Jamail Jones, a freakishly athletic G/F from Decatur, GA. I think he'll fit right in. The swarming potential for the 2010 team is simply off the charts.

Someone Finally Figures It Out: Jason KenDoll is a Shitbag

For the first time in two years, Jason "Wooly Willy" KenDoll is benched for two straight games. Two! And here's what S.D. Rivera does in his absence: 6 AB, 3 H, 4 BB, 2B, 2 HR. Using Brew City Sport's own Win Projection System, the Brewers would currently be 101-20 if Rivera had received all of Jason KenDoll's at bats this year.

Also, there's this:

This was basically the picture I wanted to post, but our friends over at Right Field Bleachers already took care of doing it. I have to say, I love the picture.

Hoff in particular was excited about the acquisition
Now that Hoffmann has another quadragenarian(in a month)
to play checkers with
the Brewers truly have a "grumpy old bullpen"
