Welcome to another season of Packer football
It is nice to see the Green and Gold on the field again abliet in a preseason game
You cannot really measure how good a team is in the preseason,
but you can look for things that translate onto any playing field.
I thought the Packers showed tremendous strength as a team on Monday
The WR corps had a good game with Driver freight training cornerbacks and James Jones' amazing touchdown catch and run.

Ryan Grant didn't play and needs to get healthy, but the team got a good look at Brandon Jackson. He really struggled in pass protection and that look A-Rod gave him after the sack was priceless. However, he also did show improved strength and showed some of his big play potential and speed.

As for the D, I thought the first unit did an excellent job stopping the Bengals quickly on the first three drives, despite having four starters out of the game(Pickett, Jolly, Woodson, Harris)
Tramon Williams in particular made a nice play taking a catch away from Chad Johnson
The second and third units looked like, second and third units, but it was nice to see Abdul Hodge running around and hitting people and not looking like a gimp.
So who do the Packers have to thank for this improving strength?
None other than Rock Gullickson. He is the Packers strength and conditioning coach and I belive this little badass' focus on free weights and plyometrics and the players commitment to the official offeseason training program. As opposed the weight machine focused, lighter attended programs under Sherman's regime.

Anyways, it was a pre-season game on Monday and you cannot read too much into the game, but I liked what I saw, particularly Rogers coming out and throwing the ball very hard. Which was a major concern when he was drafted. I am excited to see football again, hopefully the Pack can get healthy and sort out the back end of the roster. I cannot wait for the season to start. Talk about Packers preseason football here.

Sorry this took so long, blogger timed out the first three times I tried to post and I had some hardcore lake michigan fishing action last night.
That pic of Gullickson is money! I feel like I have to do pushups now...
Can you imagine having to be one of Gullickson's kids?
Kids? There's no chance he kept one woman around through a lunar cycle, let alone long enough to conceive, gestate, and raise his children.
"Born in Moorhead, Minn., Gullickson and his wife of 29 years, Terry, live in Oneida, Wis."
...according the Packer's website. I'm going to assume kids.

It's all a cover. Terry is probably his drinking buddy/wingman, though Gullickson probably doesn't even need it - 80% of his body is comprised of pure inescapable chick magnetism.
When is the Brew City Draft? I need to defend my Tetanus Iron medal.
At Condy's bachelor party. Probably that saturday night during the brewers game. Email coming sometime next week.
Are you fucken kidding me. The Brewers faced Jake by god Peavey today and trotted this shit sandwich out for a lineup?

Yeesh, might as well start Derrick Turnbow if you're looking to let the Padres walk all over you anyway.
