Ben Sheets to Start in Tuesday's All-Star Game

The one inning of work on his scheduled day in the rotation will likely put an overbearing physical burden on him and will undoubtedly cause him to injure himself sometime in the near future, just wait.

Also, tonight's whitey Home Run Derby should be a doozy.

When Bub said this...."Brew City Bub said...
I gotta say, my relatives seem awfully cavalier about a small market team standing to lose 13.5 million dollars this year."......all I could think of was he was busy paying the ticket cost and sales tax of the shit Bud and Wendy pooped out their asses. Cavalier isn't the word.....its more like...it's about freakin time!!! First time since the 80s that someone in Brewers ownership has bothered to give shit about something other than lining his own pockets. Mark A. is a big boy and has lots of $$$, let him worry about $13.5 million.

Most batters are concerned that the home run derby will screw up their swings, but . . . is anybody else kinda happy that Braun participated last night? I mean, he took more pitches in twenty minutes last night than he has in the year plus that he's been with the team. Perhaps it'll help his approach going forward.

I wonder if Josh Hamilton was thinking "Wow, this would be so much better if I was coked out of my skull" as he was hitting 30 homers last night.

Bub, I'm glad Braun participated as well and noted to the Bubfather that he was being rediculously patient.

Also, Chase Utley's "Boo? Fuck you!" was pretty hilarious.

Finally, I just realized Yankee Stadium's striking resemblance to a nut-protecting cup.

Ryan Braun riding in some parade (Safe link, I promise).

A Go Getta, indeed.

The Bubfather and I had to rewind our DVR to confirm that Sunglasses was playing when Hart stepped up to bat...awesome.

Also, word is Lincecum missed the game because he was hungover, expect for him to still make his start this weekend.
