The Phillies rotation has been tampered with as a result of a nagging injury for Jon Lieber. Hamels on short rest will go against a similar but far less impressive pitcher in Dick Hill. Hill is a homosexual, so expect the Philly fans to really lay into him.
The matchups for Saturday and Sunday are intriguing if only because the two Cubs pitchers both have failed to pay child support in the last month. What are the odds of that? Both pitchers on back-to-back days are deadbeat fathers. The situation is even worse for Lilly, whose ex-wife is surely seeking a restraining order against him. Lilly is known for his jealous rage. Angel Pagan found out the hard way, when Lilly slammed him against a locker and touched him inappropriately after Thursday's loss to the Pirates. Lilly had apparently just found out that his ex-wife was having a child with her current, non-abusive husband.
I may need to resign as a regular contributor on this blog if this stuff keeps popping up around here.
