April 20th Game Day Thread
Dave Williams (0-2, 8.00 ERA) vs. Tomo Ohka (1-1, 3 ERA)
We are 5-0 at home, albiet we played pretty awful teams. This is an interesting match-up because Adam Dunn is cold right now, but has hit Ohka in the past really well (he's .444 with 3 homers facing Tomo). Williams was pulled after 3 innings against the Cardinals in his last start, but fares well against the Brewers compared to other teams. It'll be about as interesting as a weekday Brewers Reds game gets.

Nice work Mini.
This game is not on TV in the Milwaukee area, and I will either be at the game or unable to watch it. Either way, those that are able to watch it should blast some comments on for all of us in the Milwaukee area tonight.
Personally, I love watching the Reds come to town because offense is more fun to watch than pitching.
Hmmm...I must be getting the Reds' broadcast then. I have something set to tape at 7:00.
the mini will be watching what he can (depsite a max weinberg appearance on campus at the same time the game starts). I look forward to getting the Red's announcers on MLB TV.
Also, no talk about the Bucks? Are they like lose all 4 to the pistons screwed?
Why not the Milwaukee Bucks?
In exchange for what?
Freeway, I'm glad you finally got on here. I'm sorry about all the trouble getting you registered. We'll straighten it out before we go to the Brewers game tomorrow. We're meeting at the Bub's place. You know where that is, freeway.
Well the clown show that is our defense has reared its ugly head yet again.
Is anyone else getting the Cincy broadcast with sound? This announcer is driving me NUTS! He sounds like he should be doing a Packers game. Ohhhh hey der.
anything is better than don sutton's son!
2-0, i love it. although the reds need to stop slacking and hit some damn homers.
can of kearns is due for 2 tonight.
According to Uecker, Ned Yost has said that Bill Hall is particularly good against good pitching, i.e. when a good opposing pitcher is on the mound Bill Hall is the guy you want up. What does everyone think about this observation? I'm not saying one was or the other, but I will say that in games where no one seems to be hitting, Hall often tends to be a lone bright spot. I think this is because Hall is particularly skilled at hitting pitches that are off the plate. What do others make of this?
For those watching, did Hatteberg just drop that foul ball on purpose, hoping Ohka would ground into a 1-2-3 DP?
i was wrong jimmy, it is $1 dogs and coke everywhere in the stadium for this series. i'm at work and sifting through clips for some stupid redesign project and i saw an ad from sunday's paper.
$1 dogs and you people aren't at the game?!?!?!!!!
dave williams need to be pulled. this is not fair. 4 walks in two innings.
thanks dan o'brien. yet another brilliant judge of talent.
I wanted to go to the game tonight. I got stood up!
The dogs don't start until friday. I will be at at least friday and sunday's games. This makes the decision of tailgating quite difficult. Maybe we pass on tailgating tomorrow and just do it sunday?
brandon phillips with the homer! sweet! i remember playing little league with that kid in stone mountain, ga. i also played basketball against him. good thing he picked baseball b/c he never got a clean look when i d'ed him up.
why are they not pinch hitting for williams? come on narron, try not to get yost syndrome.
