Detroit

This is too funny. It's so true that Detroit is the way they showed it. I guess people from Detroit refuse to accept the truth.

"the Arco Arena scoreboard flashed pictures of abandoned buildings, burned-out cars, piles of rubble and other negative images of Detroit."

Hmmm...when do the Kings play Cleveland? I can't wait to see how they portray the "City of Lights, City of Magic" :P

Obviously Detroit sucks in areas...I know this, you all know this. But when you take a small cross-section of a large city and say that that's all that city, well then that's wrong. What Sacramento did was insensitive and pretty downright sad. I won't disagree that Detroit is a good city gone horribly bad, and with the re-election of Kwame Kilpatrick it is only falling further into the depths of Hell...But still, the suburbs are nice :) And the Pistons play in one of the nicest burbs, Auburn Hills. So I guess I can't defend Detroit so much as poo-poo Sacramento for their insensitivity.
